The wooden case is in very good shape with minor wear from use and age, professionel checked, careful cleaned and in perfect working order.The original grill cloth is mint. The back is excellent. The glass scale lists many countries and cities from around the world. There are seperate dial pointers, one for AM/SW the other for FM. The excellent tube sound is produced through 4 original SABA speakers. 2 speakers are integrated on both sides of the housing. The tube system is: ECC85  / ECH81 / EF85 / EABC80 / EL84 / EZ80 / EM80. The indicator tube is in working order.  As you can see in the pic of the back, the radio is incredibly versatile and can have accessories plugged in through the phono/ Tape  input located in the back (Cd player, Mp 3 player or I-Pod).It also features external speaker capability. If you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me. I will respond quickly. I deemed it best to replace all the old capacitors (foil,wax and paper which was cutting edge technology in the 50's) with brand new ones. This gives the radio a "brand new" sound. As it has been completely restored it can easily handle everyday use in fact it would be better for the radio if it were used alot.  The light bulbs behind the scale glass have also been replaced with bright new ones (more precaution then neccessity), giving the radio the visual ambiance from the golden glow of the scale glass to go along with that warm tube sound.  All tubes were tested and the weak ones were replaced. The"magic eye" tube is "brandnew". All the contact points have been cleaned. The radio has also passed my "24 hour test" on both 110 and 220 volts with flying colors. As you can see in the pic of the back, the radio is incredibly versatile and can have accessories plugged in through the Phono/Tape  input located in the back.
