It is an Edison Amberola V, which I believe is hard to come by these days. The machine is in working condition and comes with a "Stars and Stripes Forever"-Sousa cylinder. Although I am not 100% sure, I don't believe the front grill is original to the machine. The phonograph is in very nice condition for its age, and still has the original paper label attached the the bottom. Weighing approximately 35 lbs. and measuring 22" x 17" x 17", pick up is preferable.  If that is not an option, the phonograph needs to be professionally packed and shipped at the expense of the buyer. Please check my feedback.On Nov-28-08 at 19:13:38 PST, seller added the following information: I was asked by an ebayer for the serial number, and then realized the Edison metal plate was inside the machine. The serial # is 27, so I'm guessing this is one of the first Amberola V's manufactured. The ebayer also mentioned the following:The reason these machines are more rare is that they were only made for a short period before the factory fire of 1914 which ended their production. Only around 6000 were made. It is a BV with the Amberola 50 motor and works that was put into one of 859 cabinets that arrived from the cabinet factory after the fire. They started the serial numbers over with the new cabinet and works combination which became a B V. BV Number 27 is one of the first machines out after the fire.
