The set is marked "Sterling" on all of the pieces. This set comes with some history. The lid ot the dresser jar is engraved on the inside and says, "To Bertha from the Beta Gammas, Feb. 9, 1926". DETAILS: Each piece is engraved with what looks like the intials of either "BCL" or "BCG". There are a few light scuff marks and scratches with a few hard to see dings. The mirror has some streaks and a small tear in the sterling that can be repaired but is still usable and the shoe horn has some areas where the plate has worn off. Please see the pictures.
