Up for your consideration is a Kellogg 4 Bar Magneto and part of a Mod. 5812M Wooden Wall Telephone Box. This was originally a manual service magneto operated telephone set that had been pretty much cannibalized when I got it. The flywheel is slightly bent but turns anyway. I needed the screws from the magneto so it is loose now.. There is an unusual aspect to this one. The 5812 came with 3 and 5 bar magnetos, and this one had a 4 bar screwed into it. Also included but not shown is the wooden spacer bar that fits above the magneto. The magneto tests out as generated 13.8 VAC more or less. Its in good but not fantastic shape and the switch array on the side of the magneto is messed up a little. However, the generating side rather than the cutoff is what counts and it powers up a 12vac ringer I had here quite nicely. Obviously this is being sold for parts or restoration. The magneto is very heavy so the larger part of this listing is the cost of shipping which is included. It goes out USPS Large Flat Rate Box as it will not fit in a small flat rate box unless you tell me to throw the wood away in which case I will discount it to small flat rate shipping.
