This Imperial Phone has real nice gold plating!!This auction is for a early 1950s Western Electric Model 202 Imperial Telephone. As I understand it, these phones were a 50th Anniversary edition put out in 1951. This WE 202 Phone is complete with its matching 684B4 Bell Ringer Box and the 154A4 Wooden Mounting Base for the bell ringer box. The gold plating on this phone is really nice. The phone works.  The dial action is smooth. The receiver needs paint. The 684B4 Ringer Box is an original for this Imperial Phone. It has house paint on it most of which I scraped off with my finger nail.
