The image is an illustration from a 19th century copy of one of Levi's treatises.  This antique print, framed in a modern frame, is ready to hang on the wall. There is wire on the back.  Eliphas Levi (died 1875) was a 19th century spiritualist/author who wrote about the occult. He created this figure, or Baphomet, as he called the goat like character, who represented the dualistic nature of life and the male and female aspects of creation.  The horned figure has a pentagram on his forehead, the breasts of a woman and a phallic object in his lap.We purchased this framed illustration from the estate of a Maryland collector of things occult, and Eliphas Levi publications, etc., who had many hundreds of items. Condition:  Good, with some minor dings to corners of frame. Looks just great.Dimensions:  11-1/4" x 8-1/4" framed.
