Description
Things weren't going too good for AMRAD in 1924 when they decided to try a Hazeltine license to manufacture Neutrodyne receivers. Read Douglas' history of AMRAD in his Radio Manufacturers of the 1920's.The AMRAD Neutrodyne is not a common set. This radio is in absolutely fantastic condition. I wouldn't be surprised if it never got sold back in the day. The inspection tag looks like it was done yesterday (I assure you it wasn't). The finish is 100% original. Everything is perfect on this radio. It is also 100% operational and includes five good UV201A's. I powered it up with an ARBE III and an RCA horn and it worked perfectly. You will like this radio and if you collect AMRAD equipment you will not be disappointed.PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS!Terms: Please look at the photos carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding, this item is sold as-is. Please don't e-mail me asking if there is a Buy-It-Now price, there isn't.Payment must be received within 7 days.Checks of any kind will clear to my satisfaction before I ship.Outside the USA? PayPal only! Thanks for looking!
