This radio is in awesome condition!  I don't like to use the word "perfect", etc..  HOWEVER!  This radio is about as close as you could expect an 82 year old to be, and certainly has the "perfect" look  The finish appears as new.  The color of the wood is excellent.  The face color is excellent with no mars, etc. Same goes for knobs..   Plating on the AK logo and on/off switch is excellent as is all lettering.  There is a small bare spot on upper right of metal face.  Inside the radio is excellent original.  Tag is still on the bottom.It's dated 1926.All sides of the cabinet are very good to excellent.  The power cable doesn't have a single thread out of place and still has the excellent original shiny cordovan color.  It still has the original AK battery installation yellow tag installed.  You will note that two of the 201 A tubes in the radio are of the newer ST (shoulder) type.  Given the outstanding condition, we have a fair starting bid and no reserve.  You may find a cheaper "20 compact", but you will never find a nicer one!  You are bidding ONLY on the AK 20 C in this auction.  The dandy model M horn came with this radio and is available in a separate auction at this time.  NOTE:  The framed AK advertisement shows both of these items from an early magazine ad.  We will include a copy of this dandy looking ad also..
