This is a rare Catalin radio. Radio was acquired from an estate sale and I have no knowledge of the radio’s past repair history but appears to have been professionally restored. Please use the pictures as your guide. Radio is in excellent working condition. Visually inspecting the radio I noticed the following warts: left side 1 small chip (see picture), right side appears to have a professionally repaired hairline crack which is barely noticeable unless you put your nose on it and hold the radio at a certain angle, bottom left (facing the rear of the radio) screw hole chipped (see picture), bottom right screw hole slight chip (see picture), radio dial inner connector chip doesn’t affect the dial knob working correctly and tuning stations, back cover also appears to be original and is starting to show some noticeable wear, and there is a slight surface scratch on the bottom of the radio (see picture). This is a beautiful radio that displays very well and will make a nice addition to any collection or to anyone's home. I tested the radio and it plays like a champ. I was able to pick up 3 stations no problem from my basement. Dial light is also operational which gives the radio a beautiful warm glow when played in low light environments. Electrical cord has been replaced with a new longer then normal cord. Due to the age of the radio it is being sold “as is”.
