It is encased in beautiful dark wood with a small issue on bottom right corner. Wood has a  thin crack in the veneer and may eventually lift off if not glued. There are some faint scratches on the top and a small chip on front top at lip in front. Could probably be filled in and polished with that dark wood polish to look great again. It has earphones that are made by Scientific, Boston, Mass.. I don't know exactly how old this is (1920's I think) or if it works but it's old and very beautiful and neat to look at inside and out. Comes with a broadcasting tuning chart never used. The instruction booklet is no longer with it but there is an information Face Plan on the inside of the cover.
