The length of the fork is 20cm and the width of the paddle is 25mm at it's widest point. In excellent condition for it's age very little wear. The London  hallmarks are well defined as shown in the photo-- A Lion Passant accompanied by The leopards head , the letter F (a date mark 1840) and a duty mark Sovereigns head (Victoria). The makers name is hard to read. I have started the bidding based on the silver content alone  excluding it's intrinsic value .
