As you can see from the pictures it is a classic model with a Beautiful and unique style. The cabinets design makes it a classic and unique collectible that will be enjoyed for years to come. It is a remembrance of the days, when a finely crafted radio of this era, combined elegance and the true to life sounds, of today. The wood graining in the veneers is exceptionally nice, and notice how well accented the grain is throughout the cabinet. This Airline tube radio is super clean, throughout. Radio has it's Original knobs and Tele-Dial scale. This Airline tube radio features a "Magic Eye" tube that lights up green and changes with the tuning. Also features features a 5" Electro-Dynamic speaker, an audio input connection and a six-tube superheterodyne radio, providing reception on the standard broadcast band, which explains the outstanding reception and the exceptional performance on this amazing quality radio receiver. This Airline tube radio is complete and plays loudly, clearly with very good tone, no hum and will arrive looking and sounding great! You can see from the photos just how Beautiful this radio is and It remains a collectible radio today. It is a fine example of Airline's quality and craftsmanship in a vacuum tube radio. It will make a fine addition to your home or office. Condition:    Functionally, This Airline tube radio has been fully tested to meet all original specifications and working perfectly. All Controls have been Cleaned, Lubricated and fully functional. They work nice, smooth and perform perfectly. Dial light is working, and has been replaced with brand new equivalent. All electrolytic and paper capacitors were replaced with brand new capacitors, that will last for ages and not dry out like the originals. Original electrolytic capacitors that sit on top of the chassis are left in place, but replaced with new capacitors under the chassis. Tuning dial string has been replaced and dial pointer has been realigned. All components on chassis were checked and all loose, cold-solder components have been resoldered. All out of tolerance components were replaced as needed. All tubes have been thoroughly checked and all weak tubes were replaced. (Short Test, Emission Test & Gas Test have been performed) All variable capacitors have been adjusted to meet all original specs. Radio's grill cloth, knobs and dial scale cover have been replaced with new reproductions. Unit has a brand new ac plug and Antique looking ac power cord. You can connect the audio out from an iPod, CD, DVD, MP3, VCR, TV, XM or SIRUS to the input connection (see photos).    Cosmetically, This Airline tube radio is super clean, throughout and will arrive looking and sounding great! The Tele-Dial scale is flawless, and lettering is crisp and clean 100% visible. All knobs and dial scale were cleaned and polished inside and out, they look as close to new as possible. The wooden cabinet has been professionally refinished, cabinet is solid with no loose veneer and in excellent condition for it's age (see photos). The proper stains, grain filler, and toning lacquers were used. The chassis has been cleaned, and in excellent condition and is free of rust or corrosion. Put it all together and you have a super example of one of Airline's finest.    Following completion of restoration procedures, this radio ran continuously for approximately 48 hours and all functions tested perfectly.
