CHAS C. STADDEN VINTAGE TOY SOLDIER PEWTER FIGURINE OFFICER, THE DUKE OF YORK AND ALBANY's MARITIME REGIMENT OF FOOT c. 1664 (REF. 022) We are auctioning a collection of military pewter figurines on behalf of a collector. All these figurines are made from quality English pewter and Hallmarked as such underneath their bases. They were designed by the famous expert Chas C. Stadden and are all marked with his name on the top of each base. These gorgeous and highly detailed figurines were manufactured between 1976 and 1986, they are all clearly Hallmarked and made from the finest English pewter by Buckingham Pewter Ltd, Enessa Works, Edwin Road, Twickenham, TW2 6ST, England. This is the same road and postcode as the Chas C. Stadden Studios Ltd address so I assume it was just another trading name. Each piece is unpainted and polished, with all pieces mounted on a 1" (2.5cm) pewter plinth bearing the Regimental badge at the front with additional decoration at the rear. Please note that no documentation or boxes are included with any of these figurines.
