SAUNDERS (at the time one of Australia's premier retailers of jewellery, silver and silverplated items).The manufacturers were JAMES DIXON & SONS of England. Again - a quality manufacturer and this teapot reflects another example of their fine work.The 'hallmark' stamped on the base was in use from 1879.The piece is in very good to excellent condition with a beautiful, mirror like shine to the almost perfect silverplated finish.The centrally positioned floral cartouche is crisp and finely detailed and there are no monograms or engraved names anywhere on the piece.NO DINGS;NO DENTS; NO SCRATCHING; NO LEAKS!
