Description
I've owned and enjoyed this phonograph for many years.  It works great !    I've been told this was a very expensive phonograph in "its' day"....  It is missing a front "speaker"  grille.   Some of the metal plating  on the needle holder and  lighthouse is gone or flaking.  The top of the phonograph may have been cleaned at one time...OR there may have been a dust coverlet on top...it has a lighter color than the rest of the cabinet.  I believe the wood is oak. The left side is for record storage.  The right front panel "drops" down (by hand) ...and you slide the panel  back until it engages an electronic switch that turns on the turntable motor.  Quite unique and original to this phonograph.    I replaced the (original, shabby, torn)  power cord with original type  nylon/cloth covered power cord. I don't believe I have seen this model Columbia phonograph for sale anywhere.  Email for more photos if you are interested. Shipping is up to you,  the buyer.  I prefer you pick it up. NOTE:   If you pick it up there is no charge / cost involved other than your gas / time.  Ebay required  "some"  shipping cost in order to finish listing this item...  If you want it shipped,  suggest you contact North American Van Lines for shipping estimate....  shipped from zip code 77068.   guess  it's around 200 lbs. Dims: about:  40" x 33"x 22"
