The front panel features the "Theme Center" of the 1939 World's Fair the Trylon and the Perisphere.The front of the cabinet was a Repwood panel (a molded plastic imitation wood product) which depicted the Worlds Fair symbol, the Trylon and Perisphere. This commemorative radio is in excellent condition with the only blemish being two small hairlines on the Repwood front panel. The first hairline is above the "w" in world's and the second being below the "r" in york (as seen in pictures). There are no other chips, dings, or major scratches the front panel displays average were to finish for it's age.. The radio retains it's factory original front panel, handle, dial scale,grille cloth, and knobs. This radio would make a wonderful addition to any collection or office décor.
