As you can see it was well taken care of over these last 70 plus years and boy does it show! The chrome is a strong 9+ and I would even go as far as a 10 since I have not found any pitting yet. The cabinet has a few light blemishes, grill cloth is perfect, as are the tweeters and speaker, the knobs are original except for 2 that I had replaced since they were missing, one has a small peice of wood missing on the back edge (volume knob) that is hard to spot, there is a some minor loss of veneer on one of the scroll patterns towards the back, and it looks that there is a small thin surface burn mark on the top of the lid (almost looks like a dark grain pattern). Please keep in mind the radio cabinet has not been refinished and for it to look this great after all these years is really amazing.  The radio picks up stations all over the world and sounds pretty darn good. I have yet to turn the volume to the half way point.
