I have owned this machine since 1968 acquiring it from the original family. The case is a beautiful highly figured oak wood with the gold and black banner label in beautiful condition. The matching lid is still with the machine. There are two small slivers of veneer missing along the edge of the lid and a dry glue joint along the top curve of lid but the finish and solidity are fine. The machine still works great never has been tampered with. No rust on any of the metal parts. The original crank is also with the machine. The orignal horn was a 14 inch tin and brass belled horn which is not with the machine. A great piece for your collection, most of these phonographs found today have been pieced together from assembled parts, not this one.The serial number on the plate is S282241 and the serial number on the reproducer is 63551 Place a Bid!
