This is a nice example of a Edison Triumph Model E 2/4 phonograph. There were less than 5000 of these produced and is one of the hardest Triumph models to find today. This is a nice cylinder phonogragh and plays GREAT. Other than a new belt and the mandrel bearing being replaced, everything else is original to the phonograph including the crank. The lid has been refinished in the past. The lower cabinet appears original, but has a few blemishes in the finish. The original Diamond B reproducer sounds great and is loud. It has the original cygnet back bracket. The triple spring motor runs strong and is the best motor Edison produced. The serial number is #86051. This phonograph would make a GREAT addition to your collection. This is a 2/4 minute Triumph, but since it has the Diamond B reproducer, it will only play the more popular 4 minute Blue Amberola cylinders. As with all antiques, sales are final.
