It plays quite well, with a bit of background hum. It has 9 tubes according to the tube chart on the bottom. I have listened to both AM and FM. There are speakers facing out on each side.Knobs on the front are for on/off/volume, tone, AM/FM and tuning.It has a Swedish walnut veneered case that looks very nice. The odd minor mark along an edge here and there. No serious damage.
