A nice example  Jackson and Ellamarie Woolley are considered  amongst the top American enamelists, The Woolleys are known for their abstract designs. This California couple worked both small and large producing plates,boxes, bowls and tableware as well as plaques, sculpture and large murals in enamel.  The Woolleys work is in many Museum collections and they were recently featured in the important museum exhibition "Painting with Fire" at the  Long Beach Museum of Art.An entire chapter of the exhibition catalog that accompanied the exhibition is dedicated to their important work in enamel.I have tried to accurately describe the condition of each item, these came from a longtime collector and are generally excellent with no damage to the copper and no chips or cracks. Often in the firing of enamel especially transparents one might see some tiny firing line. The far edges may also be rough ..I am mentioning anything I see no matter how small or insignificant. Those that collect know that many on Ebay have little understanding of enamel and report condition paying no attention to surface or details.
