The piece measures 1" x 3/4" x 1 1/4" high, weighs 1.0 oz (26gm) and is marked with "STERLING TIFFANY & CO PHILIPPINES" on the side. We believe it is from the 1950's.  The top, bottom and hinge work well and it seals tightly, no monogram. The handle swivelsand it has a lovely pagota embossed on both sides.
