Simply AMAZING. It stands 36cm tall (over 14 inches) and is 16.4 cm x 2 at the base. It is in MINT condition with bags still sealed and all parts wrapped in Japanese tissue. The instructions are there along with an insert of one fo the seven Japanese gods (Diakoku-Ten). It is BATTERY powered with internal lights. The assembly booklet shows the need for 2 UM-1 batteries that are installed at the base and light the entire temple via 3 internal lights. The quality of this kit is in a league all its own. I really hate to sell this, but its just been collecting dust since the early 1970s. If you search the net there is but one source for a 1/70 scale kit made by a manufacture in Japan, and they want $450 U.S. . At an IPMS show back in the 1980s, I was offered $75.00. Obviously, I said no, but I pass this along as an indication of what this model is worth. Long out of production. If it doesn't get a bid at the start price, it will go right back in my closet and hopefully in the next 30 years, I can place it back up on the market.
