See more about 'GE C400, tiny Canadian bakelite Radio one of pair 1945 ' Description   STUNNING!   HARD-TO-FIND UNUSUAL, INNOVATIVE  1930s DESIGN STREAMLINED IVORINE/CREAM PLASKON CABINET GENERAL ELECTRIC (CANADA) C400  ******   ANCIEN POSTE DE RADIO à lampes TSF Recepteur des années 1940     Beautiful, small and 'affordable' streamlined US collectable radio, manufactured in mid-40s     It is the second of a pair I have currently listed:    GE C400, RARA nano-piccola Radio bianco bachelite 1945     The condition is very good throughout. The aesthetic appearance of the radio is supreme. Boasts a uniform very dark walnut patina. There are no cracks, splits, breaks, nicks nor chips at all, save a tight small stressline between the louvres on top. No problems around the screwholes. There are no scratches. There is no warpage. The original knob and dial (prone to wobbling) are both perfect. Original back in good condition. The insides are very clean and seemingly complete. I believe that it plays, but it comes with no guarantee (see caveat below), as it carries an excellent original cord, plug and aerial.       Measures (max) 7.7"x 5.0"x 4.4" (195mm x 127mm x 111mm)     NO REPRODUCTION PARTS!   BELLA!   Prodotto nel Canada in 1945 - è raro.
