This amazing piece is fully detailed on front and back. The detailing is much better than I could capture with my camera. (See below for picture of reverse side of pendant in the Sterling Silver version also available in my eBay store.) "The Morrigan" is depicted as a Bronze Age Celt. A triple Goddess, her three aspects are know as: Neaim, Macha, and Badb. She holds two spears and is known for being indomitable in battle. A shape shifter, she would often appear as a raven or hooded crow. As a protector she empowers an individual to confront challenges with great personal strength, even against seemingly overwhelming odds. Roman chroniclers reported that Celts went into battle naked, exposing tattoos to summon their magical forces. Pendant has nice large bail that will accommodate most chains and small cords. It measures about 1 3/4” in length (including the length of the bail). The original Sculpture is shown in the pic below. I stock the statues also – check my Ebay store!
