Greetings!! Thank you for taking the time to stop in and see my auction. This Druidic golden sickle is from my personal collection. Its a refurbished antique from Wales. The blade was painted gold after it was cleaned up and the handle was painted white with red detail. It has been used in Celtic style ceremonies over the years in Colorado. This is a fine piece for display or actual use. The sickle has become a noteworthy symbol of Druidic status although its actual importance in history is debatable. There are records from a Roman scholar who recorded the Arch Druid cutting mistletoe from the oak with a golden sickle.
