It is a model 2440U. It is an AM,FM, and Shortwave radio model. The unit features Volume, Off, PU, BC, SW, FM, Tuning. The FM has 10 circuits and the AM has 7 circuits. It's indicators are for BC/ SW/ FM. The connector is for a mono- PU/TR. Everything is quiet on this unit, the tuning meter works perfectly. In overall good condition, showing a split to the front, just to the right of the keys. ALSO a few minor dings to the top of the cabinet, and a long line running through the finish on top, if you run your finger over it, it's a raise in the lacquer finish. We have attempted to photograph this issue. This auction includes the original operating manual and schematic and original factory card, with the inspector stamps on it and it's original warranty card. The plug should be snipped and replaced with a safer plug. Overall a clean unit, in great working condition, perfect for the collector! What a great sounding radio!
