An example survives for the year 1521 - London.   The figure on the top of the spoon is that of the blessed Virgin Mary. The Hallmarks The Lion, showing the silver used in manufacture is of the required standard. The Leopards Head, the mark of the silversmiths of London since 1300 The date mark, a different letter in unbroken sequence in London, has been used since 1478. The Makers Mark, this piece of silver was made by craftsmen in the City of London. The spoon will be sent in a gift case. It will include a card with all the above information.  The spoon, unboxed, weighs 34 grams.
