CALIF See more about 'HAND HAMMERED DOVETAILED C. 1880 TIN LINED COPPER POT' Description HAND HAMMERED DOVETAILED C. 1880 TIN LINED COPPER POT Copper pot, I am not sure of it's age, however, I belive it to be circa 1880   It has been polished by a previous owner - the black around the outside edge is not, as far as I can tell any type of grease it is part of the original construction,  as the item has been polished, this area is polished also, adding to the ascetics of the pot   Made  of copper, hand hammered into shape with lovely rough-cut dovetails Tin lined with a rolled and hammered copper edge Brass Handle applied with rivets Measures 3 1/2 inches deep with a 18 1/4 inch diameter, 13  inches with handle Interior shows ware from age Over all quite a nice piece Weight is 1lbs. 8oz.
