This auction is for a Haunted Mirror.  I originally bought this approx 18 years ago from an estate sale, they sold everything  they could.   Little did any of usknow but, the original owners had died in that house ("murder" a son who shot mom and dad and a sister, he is still living, but in a mental hospital).  Then the stories were going around that the home  is haunted and that is what made the son go mad.  How sad for that family.  After the first shock of the sad circumstances... we went on with our lives (I never shared this with our children).  It was approx a couple months down the road.  Our beautiful mirror (has the old wavy glass) was set up on my daughters dresser.  She woke up screaming, just terrified.  I jumped up and had to run into her room to calm her down.  She swore that she saw a man in the glass.  Well this was just the beginning.  She also started hearing footsteps and swore that things were being misplaced in her room and that the man would speak with her.  I could not even begin to tell how many times she would scream for me.  She was only 5 then, she is 23 today and swears that she was telling the truth.  I never personally had these experiences, but she has had other experiences in different places.  I would say that she is a sensitive and just one of the lucky or not lucky depending how you would feel about it.  Well our other children hated the mirror and would not let us put it in their rooms, they even grew up, moved out and still would not take the mirror.  This nice mirror has been stored ever since.  I think it is time for it to go to a new home to someone who would appreciate it. Maybe you can put the restless spirits to rest.  I just think that this mirror has seen a lot and needs some extra love.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Approx the mirror is 27 1/2" x 19",with frame 31" x34".  There are imperfections around the wood from wear and tear.  The back also had been redone with newer looking cardboard.  Honestly I always thought of this as an antique, but it may be from the 1930's or sooner.  Thanks for looking and if you win this auction keep me updated if you ever have this experience!
