The piece has an engraved markings of what appears to be an A and an S with crow's feet like symbols punctuating the two letters (as pictured in the photo) and from the research that I have done in  Pewter in America by Laughlin, this seems to suggest that the plate was made in the late 18th century. It measures 9.5" in diameter and it is in good condition, with some pitting, considering it's age.
