This is an extremely early example at least 300 years old but probably older. It is solid, heavy bronze with a silver finish and remnants of enameling along the horses main and below its chin. We are told it was probably used at baptisms or for incense at religious services. 5 7/8" long. A most interesting artifact, figural and decorative.
