E for electronic; 76 for 1976, the year to celebratethe 100 anniversary of Alexander Graham Bell's first telephone call.The plan was made in KIRK's Telephone company in Horsens butthe design took 30 pre-qualifiers and was ready only in 1978!The designer Jacob Jensen asked himself some questions:What is wrong with the dial phone?It took so long time to return when you dialed a number with the disc.It was not designed for a left hander.
