The piece is in very good condition, with light usage marks and a light inscription "For Mary and David in celebration of the twelfth, their Day". The BASKET measures 4.5” high and is 4” by 3”, weighs 4.0oz. and is marked with "STERLING CARTIER HANDMADE" on the base and has a small provenance inscription on the band . We estimate it is an early piece made around 1950. The BASKET has been lightly polished and is bright and shiny. I have included an image compared to a regular-sized trinket basket of which I have one also for sale.
