This streamlined radio displays extremely well showing it's richly marbleized brown bakelite cabinet. This example is in great condition containing no cracks, chips, nicks, dings, tube burns, repairs, or major scratches. This example retains its original knobs, glass dial lens and cardboard backing. MAKE -Westinghouse MODEL-WR173L YEAR- 1940 CASE MATERIAL - Bakelite, richly marbled brown SIZE-8 1/2" W x 5" H x 5 7/8” D CONDITION- This radio is in excellent condition with no cracks, nicks, dings, major scratches, stress lines, repairs, or chips. Radio retains its factory original knobs and the glass dial lens. I have hand polished this beauty with a little Novus #2 and it shines very well. The radio is very clean inside and out, this radio is sure to please you! Email with any questions on this beauty. No cosmetic repairs/restoration was necessary on this gorgeous example of a bygone era. CHASSIS/PLAYING CONDITION- The chassis is clean, complete, and I was able to pick up 3-4 stations that were clear. As a reminder, these vintage catalin radios are not recommended for everyday use, nor should they be played for extended periods of time as that could cause tube burns to the cabinet.
