I was told that this is for the TA-312 field telephone (1952-1989). The box is marked "4B3151-235; RECEIVER ELEMENT, TEL. TA-235/PT; 1-EACH; 26573-PH-52, W.E.CO., INDPLS, INDIANA; METHOD 1A-8". Some of this info is also marked on the back of the element. This item might be from WWII or the 1950's as it was found with other items from that era.
