Description
DUE TO NUMEROUS REQUESTS, I AM RETURNING WITH MY RADIO SHOW AUCTIONS THROUGH THE END OF DECEMBER ONLY! TIME'S RUNNING OUT!!! Ever since I decided to retire from selling old-time radio shows on eBay last year, I have been receiving emails asking me to offer them again. So from now until the end of December, I will sell them again. ALL ORDERS WILL BE SENT BY PRIORITY MAIL. . A number of the radio show sets I sell have more shows than any other seller has, and when I go, these shows go with me, so get these now while you have the chance.. Check my feedback for customer satisfaction. Be sure to check out ALL of the nearly 150 different radio show auctions I have this week by going into any of my auctions and on the far right side of the bidding area you will see a section called "Meet the Seller". In that section, click on "List" that is next to "View seller's other items" and you will see every auction I have (approximately 35,000 radio shows in grand total) . I will still be on eBay with Playbills and movie memorabilia and I hope you will be around for those. Please remember: no bids from other sellers of old time radio shows. Those bids WILL be cancelled. I will only sell to collectors. Here are 172 old radio shows of Ronald Colman, which includes the following: 2 Academy Award Theater1 Command Performance1 Hallmark Playhouse80 Halls of Ivy10 Halls of Ivy TV soundtracks1 Ronald Colman’s Lost Horizon record1 Screen Director’s Playhouse6 Suspense17 Everything for the Boys21 appearances on Jack Benny12 Lux Radio Theater You also get these non-Colman shows: 2 Basil Rathbone readings, 6 Boris Karloff readings, plus 51 Adventures in Research, and 7 Shakespeare (1-hr adaptations of plays). These are recorded on 2 CDs in MP3 format. Careful research has shown that these items are in the public domain and agree with eBay’s policies on Public Domain material selling. To new bidders, please check out my feedback to see how buyers rate my material. A few examples: "The greatest seller of otr I have ever dealt with""A modern knight indeed; goes above & beyond the call!""Great Service, I totally got what was offered. Fantastic deal speedy delivery""Nothing but the best OTR and service. Highly recommended repeat seller!""Best OTR dealer on Ebay.""Professional looking cd's, hours of enjoyment ahead. Thanks""Highest recommendation! A model for all other eBay sellers""Treats buyers with a real personal touch! On a scale of 1-10, a 20!""Fantastic packaging, GREAT variety, recommend as best bargain for price.""Super service, friendly emails and lightning fast shipping. TERRIFIC!!!!!"...and, well, check out the feedback for yourself. Why should you buy from me? When I started selling radio shows on eBay a few years ago, I determined I would produce an all-around quality package that I felt others had not done. To this day, I still believe in that philosophy:1. Fill the CD with more shows - Ever bought an OTR CD with, say, 40 shows and see that is all you get, even if the CD is half-empty? I believe you should get those shows PLUS more series to fill out the CD. 2. Use only the highest-quality CDs: TDK, Memorex or Fujifilm. Better CDs = better lifespan.3. Episode titles - Each of my auctions lists the show’s episode titles and/or dates. With this list, you know what you are getting. If someone advertises "75 episodes of ____________" without a list, are you getting 75 different shows or are there any duplicates accidentally mixed in that amount? Believe me, it happens.4. Colorful labels - because each CD should be a nice item.5. Shipping charge. $4.80. That’s it, whether it is one auction or several packaged together. Everything is sent by U.S. Post Office Priority Mail in a sturdy Priority Mail box. And every cent of the $4.80 is the postage. You NEVER pay handling charges.6. Radio show collecting is fun, and I am always trying to locate more and more shows to add to your collection. Frequently Asked Questions "What is ‘OTR’?" "OTR" stands for "Old Time Radio", the era from the 1930s until the 1950s when drama, comedy and music programs were as common on radio as they are today on TV. "What is ‘MP3’?" MP3 is a computer program that shrinks audio down into small bytes of data. And when the MP3 CD is played over an MP3 player, it becomes regular audio to our ears again. Many modern computers have a media player with MP3 built in and can play it. If your computer does not have a media player, I can let you know of a great free MP3 player you can download in just a few minutes time. There are some excellent portable CD players that have MP3 and they can play the CDs. too. You can always tell if a CD player has MP3 because it will have the symbol of MP3 on the lid. ( Also, there are some DVD players and boomboxes that have MP3 built in but I do not usually recommend them because I have mostly found they do not play these shows well.) (Please make sure your player's specifications say it can play MP3s with 32 or less kbps.) "Will these CDs play in my car or on my home stereo?" Most car stereos and home stereos DO NOT have MP3 technology built in and that is what these are recorded in. If you tried playing the CDs without MP3 in the unit, it would react to it as if it were a blank CD. So, the answer is "NO." HOWEVER, for your car, you can get a "car cassette kit", which is a cassette with a wire attached. The wire goes to the earphone jack of a portable MP3 CD player and the cassette goes into the car stereo’s cassette deck. When played together, sound from the MP3 CD player comes out over the car speakers. I use this myself for traveling. People have been buying from my auctions on eBay for years now and I look forward to quality dealing with you. If you win more than one auction and intend to pay by PayPal, please combine all auctions won into only ONE PayPal payment (plus shipping of $4.80), thanks. ALL AUCTION PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. SELLING IN USA ONLY; NO INTERNATIONAL BIDS, THANKS. PLEASE NOTE: No bids from sellers of old time radio shows, thanks. (Those bids will be cancelled.)
