Measures approx.  8"  tall   Hallmarks found under lid include:  RWP, Plough   A  Delightful  Gift  to give or to receive!   ~~~~~~                                                                         Wilton's  History of the MULBERRY HILL  Pattern:    The Mulberry Hill series was named for a neighborhood in Lancaster, PA, the Mulberry Hill series was a renaming and expansion in 1982 of the Octagonal series...      The OCTAGONAL pattern was fashioned after an original piece by the English pewterer, George Bacon. Though Bacon worked in the early 1800s, this vast collection is remarkably contemporary.   The earliest of the transitional offerings, these pieces are at home in an American Colonial environment as they are in the most sophisticated Contemporary settings, and was introduced in the late 1960s.     About Armetale®  You can heat, chill or freeze it -  and it holds it temperature long after serving to keep your foods hot or cold.    It is widely imitated, and desired by many because of it's superior qualities and appearance.
