When plugged in the clock's second hand runs and the clock appears to keep time. I was able to tune in two stations - although it is not  the quality we are now accustomed to.  The middle knob on the clock side is missing and on the gold rims show some wear, especially on the clock side. But this does not detract from the over all beauty of this vintage radio.  There  is a minor hairline scratch on the left side above the plug in about 1 1/4 inches long, the light has to hit it just right to see it.There  is a pin head size nick on the right side (shown in picture). There is a switch on the back for radio and phono.A very fun and classic radio from days gone by!I am not a radio collector so if I missed a detail please feel free to email me for the info. Thanks!
