Description
Up for auction are 5 Beautiful Rainbow tubes with bright brass bases and nice tips. These are display tubes since all have open filaments; beautiful for display in open or breadboard radios. They consist of 2 Cunningham 301-A's and 3 Radiotron 201-A's. Made by GE, of course. The rainbow effect comes from a phosphorous based compound that was used in the getters. These tubes were produced in the early 20's at the GE plant in Nela Park near Cleveland, Ohio. It is kinda hard to get a good picture of the rainbow effect, but if you have ever seen one before, you know what they look like. Took one outside to get a better picture. As stated, these do not work. SOLD AS IS. No warranty. No return. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
