Description
Old Leich Telephone with Crank click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Old telephone with crank where the dial would be. I have no idea if this phone works. The name on the bottom of the says Leich,a name I am not familiar with and cannot tell you any more about. Instead of a dial it has a hand crank where the dial should be. When the crank is turned the bells ring. I have tried to remove the bottom to give you a look inside the phone, but although the screws come out and the bottom releases about a quarter of an inch, there must be some type of compression clips keeping it in place. I just can't figure out where they are and instead of doing damage, I decided to leave it alone. The telephone measures 8¼ long by 5¼ wide by 5¾ inches tall. There is some wear to the paint on the crank and has a few scuffs on the finish of the phone, primarily the handset, but there are no cracks, chips or breaks in the phone or handset housing that I can find. this is a very heavy phone, weighs over 8 lbs. when packed. The phone has a unique mouthpiece and and design for where the handset rests, which would make it a nice addition to any old telephone collection. Please contact me if you have any questions, would like additional photographs, etc. Thanks for looking at my auction. International bidders should e-mail me for shipping costs before bidding. All shipping and handling costs will be paid by the buyer. I pack well and try to keep shipping costs low as possible, so please contact me before bidding if you have any special requests on packing, such as double-boxing, larger than necessary boxes, etc. as this may add to your shipping costs. All items listed are used unless otherwise specified. The items are sold as-is and will not be refunded unless grossly misrepresented. See my other listings for more great items! U.S. Bidders: IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS WHICH COULD ADD TO THE WEIGHT OR SIZE OF THE SHIPPING BOX, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE PAYING TO DETERMINE IF THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS. Otherwise, you can determine correct shipping costs for a single auction by either using E-bay check-out or e-mailing your shipping preferences (USPS, UPS, whether you wish to add insurance, etc.) after the auction ends and I will send an invoice. Payment must be made within 10 days after close of auction or item may be relisted. International Bidders: International bidders should e-mail for shipping costs before bidding. IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS WHICH COULD ADD TO THE WEIGHT OR SIZE OF THE SHIPPING BOX, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING TO DETERMINE IF THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS. Payment must be made within 10 days after close of auction or item may be relisted. Your auction will be shipped within three days of a cleared payment, barring any unusual or emergency circumstances. Auctions will be shipped USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business day delivery), USPS Parcel Post (2-9 business day delivery) or UPS Ground (5-6 business day delivery), your choice, unless otherwise stated in the body of the listing. UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box. Please make sure you communicate any special packing needs, such as double boxing, larger than necessary boxes, etc. before payment, as this may add to your shipping cost. I will combine shipping, if possible, on auctions ending within a period of 8 days. I will send you an e-mail with the combined shipping costs for the three services and will send a revised invoice with the correct shipping cost after you respond with your choice. International Bidders: I will only ship to a confirmed PayPal address. In most cases, insurance is optional, but strongly suggested. The seller not be held liable for any lost or damaged shipments if insurance is not purchased. USPS insurance will automatically be calculated based on the value of your auction when you click on the Add link by the optional insurance box. UPS Ground will automatically insure each shipment up to $100.00. If your auction ends over that amount, additional insurance can be purchased. International bidders: Contact me before bidding if insurance is desired. To view the showcase you need Flash 6 or higher.
