Molded on the bottom it has copyright 1976”American Telecommunications Corporations El Monte California. I never say mint or perfect but the only thing I see worth mentioning is the receiver has a few nicks on the inside part of it. I thought the brown base was a little light in spots but I’m pretty sure that’s just the way it was made. There are many auctions stating the Snoopy phone they have up for auction was the original and first Snoopy phone sold. Trust me after doing lots of research this rotary phone was the first and original Snoopy Woodstock Phone sold. I have pulse service (push button) service at my house. I just unplugged my phone plugged this in, dialed a friend, it rang and worked perfect, load and clear. Then I had him call me, Snoopy rang, picked it up and the conversation was as clear as my original phone. Nothing to change, no batteries necessary.
