Well, it sat in a box for so many years that my house is now contemporary and I no longer have a place for it. This phone is Danish in origin. I found the following info on the internet at Bobsoldphones.net "In August 1882 KTAS began operations, financed by local businessman Carl Frederick Tietgen. KTAS served Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark on the island of Zealand."The phone has a copper case that is good condition. I cleaned it a bit and as you can see in the pictures it shines up well. The cradle is brass and will polish back up and the handset is bakelite. The rotary dialer moves well but a bit slowly not always returning all the way without help. At one time someone converted the end to a modern wall plug. The fabric cords are in good condition with the one to the wall plug being complete while the one to the handset is separated right near the handset (see pic) and could easily be reconnected.  It's marked "Kjobenhavns Telefon Aktieselskab" inside on the bottom. I do not know whether the phone is operable as the handset is disconnected. Two of the bottom feet are missing. I took the bottom off and took a picture of the inside which looks good.This phone would look fantastic completely restored. Please e mail with any questions and I will try my best to answer.
