Bail:     1 7/8 in × 1 1/16 in (4.6 cm × 2.7 cm)Weight:     10.6 grCondition:     NewBody CrossFront side: Image of Crucified Christ, as shown on the front side of the cross, is executed with fatherly love. As usual, on Russian Orthodox crosses, God is portrayed as if Crucified high above the earth with freely opened hands, as if hugging the entire universe and gazing down impassively at his people. Crucified Lord always portrayed in 8-ended crosses. Over the head is a small beam with the inscription "IC XC". This plaque "Jesus Nazorey king of the Jews", according to the Gospel, was nailed to the cross after the Crucifixion. Adam’s skull is depicted at the bottom oh Lord’s feet. God Himself has been sacrificed on the cross to redeem the original sin, from the time of Adam shared humanity with God, and to destroy the kingdom of death on Earth. As a symbol of redemption at the base of the cross in a cave embodied first human skull. Lord was crucified where, according to Tradition, Adam was buried, and the blood of Christ was washing his remains.Reverse side: The image of the Mother of God, called "Spirit" and five Holy Man were depicted on the back of the cross. Images of the Virgin and Holy Man are inseparable. These are the bishops who served to Jesus Christ same as to the Mother of God, and their sacrificial devotion most resemble Jesus himself in their pastoral activities and educational endeavors. Depicted at the very top is the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All of Russia Tikhon (Belavin) (19 January 1865 - April 7, 1925) Depicted on the left is metropolitan Peter (Passed in 1326). To the right is holy Alexy, Metropolit of Moscow. At the bottom of the cross - Icons of Dimitri Rostov (1709) and the Moscow Metropolitan Filaret (1867). BR>Historically correct and done in the best traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church, this cross was created in Russia, in one of the most famous jewelry workshop.
