Description If you have always wanted a Zenith Walton, now is your chance by purchasing this beautiful radio. This radio retains its original finish and grill cloth and you can tell from the pictures that it is in fine, museum like condition. This is a model 7-J-232, thus it does not have the “tuning eye.” It was professionally restored recently by someone with years of radio restoration experience. All caps and resistors were replaced, tubes were tested, the radio was properly aligned and a new electrical cord was installed. It plays GREAT and has a wonderful sound! I am listening to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game on it as I write this description. The only slight blemish on the finish is that the original owner had it too near a window so the top and left side of the radio had some sun exposure which cause a little flaking of the original finish. HOWEVER, this doesn’t detract from its beauty and I chose to leave this radio with its original patina finish for value purposes. I included photos so you can see. It’s a really nice radio! I would prefer you pick it up to avoid any possible shipping damage to this beauty, but I am willing to ship it. If it is shipped, I will of course double box it. Sorry, no overseas purchasers.
