I believe the frames are late 1800 or early 1900. Military buyers will recognize the design and therefore be better able to date them exactly. They remind me of items made by Bradley and Hubbard in the USA with the numbering system they used for items like this, although these are Canadian/British design. THEY ARE BOTH NUMBERED 9449 as seen in the last photo. No other makers marks are visible to me.  They are in near-PERFECT unmolested condition to the original finish with the natural age toning one would expect. I cannot imagine that a better pair could be found of original frames of this type. I should really keep these but I have become basically a bookend collector and therefore have run out of display area. SHIPMENT COST - I will only charge you the exact shipment cost with a method including insurance, with the cost rounded up or down to the nearest dollar. As I have not yet sold anything on ebay, I am not experienced in the costs of shipment from Canada within Canada or to the USA. I would ship via a means where we have a package number with insurance so it can be tracked, I suppose via EXPEDITED shipment or the next higher level for faster service (but more expensive).
