During the middles ages a portion of the three true nails used a the crucifixion was melted and used to make replicas, for the passion time. The Nails were distribued to Churches in Europe for veneration by the faithful. This nail contains some fragment of the nails. It come with document dated 8 August 1870, from the Monastery S.
