Description   ORIGINAL 1920s PHILIPS RADIO & SPEAKER CLOTH / FABRIC!   FROM ONE OF THE SUPREME 'CLASSIC DESIGN' BAKELITE PHILIPS SPEAKERS (haut parleur/ altoparlante / lautsprecher)   FROM THE LATE 1920s   A MODEL POSSIBLY NEVER EVEN RETAILED IN THE UK   The condition is excellent throughout. The aesthetic appearance is supreme. The orginal gold flecked cloth is free of any nicks, tears, wear or any flaws at all. It is extremely clean (study the image of the rear). There is original glue residue around the rim, which should of course be there anyway! The metal cover has an almost mint and original 'golden glow' finish, boasting just one tiny mark visible in the image. The matching original backing assembly, designed to protect the speaker cone, has a few small nicks in the very thin 'muslin' type fabric, but it is only included as an extra (and can be excluded is buyer wishes). The frame for the fascia is in truly perfect condition.       DIAMETER 295mm   Each with SEVEN HOLES, of UNIFORM DISTANCE (123mm) APART         A truly scarce radio part.... a great and unusual find....       HAVE YOU GOT AN EMPTY CABINET, OR A POOR FASCIA FOR YOUR SPEAKER?     ALTERNATIVELY, THERE IS A LOT OF ORIGINAL CLOTH HERE...     NB* THIS FABRIC WILL BE ORIGINAL TO   SEVERAL OTHER EARLY PHILIPS RADIOS AND SPEAKERS.         Payment please within 4 days by PayPal, or by Sterling denominated cheque (preferred), to arrive with 7 days.
