Pair c1940 Chase Brass & Copper Co. 8 oz. CHROME Harry Laylon Design “OLD FASHIONED” COCKTAIL CUPS From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Pair of Vintage ART DECO CHROME COCKTAIL or OLD FASHIONED CUPS designed by Harry Laylon and made between 1936 and 1942. Made by the Chase Brass & Copper Co. when it was in Waterbury, CT., these stand 3” tall and hold about 8 ounces. In business since 1876, Chase is known for its highly collectible copper, brass and chrome pieces. These are in excellent used condition with no dents in the metal and only typical light usage marks. As shown, they are marked with the Chase mark and will come with the display tag identifying them and noting they were from the Collection of Gary Broder. I’ve recently purchased a large lot of Chase and other Art Deco brass, copper and chrome items, so please keep watching my listings for more of these. Please see my other auctions for an eclectic selection of other vintage and antique items. Note to domestic buyers: ANY BREAKABLE ITEM WHICH SELLS FOR $25.00 OR MORE MUST BE SENT INSURED REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE LISTING SHOWS INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL. Note to international buyers: IF YOUR ITEM SELLS FOR MORE THAN $25.00, IT MUST BE SHIPPED AS INSURED PRIORITY MAIL. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE. If you pay the incorrect amount automatically invoiced by eBay, I will refund your payment. This change in my policy has become necessary due to PayPal’s compliance with domestic and international credit card regulations which makes sellers responsible for items lost or damaged in transit even though a buyer may have declined insurance. Any buyer who wishes to decline insurance on items over $25.00 and qualify for lower shipping costs must pay by check or money order.
