They are made out of ½" pine. After I make each box, I wood burn and paint them. They are then finished with at least four coats of water based poly. Because the finish is water based, the box should not be stored outside. This Praying Hands box is 10" Long, by 9" deep, by 6 1/4" tall. It is stained in a maple color. The famous praying hands painting is recreated on the top. The front of the box has an intricate and beautiful cross, painted in metallics. Inside is lined gray. The hardware on the chest is fancy brass, including a locking hasp on the front and corner protectors. Place a Bid!
